Cards lefty Odalis Perez has been having a sensational season for the 50-49 Cardinals. The fourteenth player taken in the 2001 draft, Odalis currently has a 12-2 record with a 3.74 ERA. The southpaw pitcher leads the league in complete games (8) and winning percentage (.857). "We wouldn't be anywhere near .500 with out Odalis" says skipper John Helmbrecht as the rest of the Cardinal starting staff is currently 24-32.
