Atlanta righthanders Kevin Millwood and John Lackey are geting it done for the division leading Braves. Millwood, in his third season for Atlanta, is 10-4 with a 3.70 ERA in 19 starts. Rebounding from a dissapointing 6-11 record and a 6.42 ERA last season, Kevin has been a model of consistency for the Braves.
John Lackey, the 9th player selected in the 2001 draft, is currently 9-3 with a 3.92 ERA. Lackey has given up just 6 homeruns in his 15 starts.
The Braves, after finishing with a record 105 wins in the inaugural 2000 season, missed the playoffs last season. However, Atlanta is leading the weak Killebrew division by a whopping 14 1/2 games this season and is a sure bet to make the playoffs.
