Wells and Blue Jays Making Some Noise

Toronto (AP) - Blue Jays centerfielder Vernon Wells has been having a dramatic impact on the upstart Toronto Blue Jays. With a record of 40-122 just a season ago, the Toronto Blue Jays are no longer an easy opponent. One of the big reasons has been the early outstanding play of their star - Vernon Wells.

Vernon Wells leads the league in homers (23), leads the league in RBI's (60), and is third in the league in batting average (.356). Wells is also tied for 7th in the league in runs scored (42). An amazing start for the 24 year old youngster. . . .

Twins will turn to future for success now

After another rant by manager bob petersen management led my gm frank viola has decided the future is now for Minnesota. Two moves that to be made are bringing up phenom johan santana and adding josh beckett to rotation permanently.Viola has decided a run at a wild card would be send the right message to fans and his young team alike. With the off season additions of Carlos Lee and Hadeki Matsui the offense has improved and the young arms should add a shot in the arm the twins need.viola says he has giving the manager the tools now lets see if he knows how to build? sounds like manager petersen better get results stay tuned.....
