Damian Jackson hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI as the Pittsburgh Pirates
defeated the San Francisco Giants by the score of 10 to 7 at Network Asc
Coliseum.
Pittsburgh scored 3 runs in the 6th inning. The highlight belonged to Jackson
who brought the crowd to their feet when he cleared the fences for a two-run
home run (his 9th of the season). Pittsburgh ended up with 12 hits for the
game while San Francisco had 9.
Steve Woodard(2-1) got the win allowing 1 run in 3 and 1/3 innings. James
Baldwin(11-9) was hit with the loss. He served up 4 gopher balls in 5 and
2/3 innings.
