Cards Fast Start Out Of The Gate

The St. Louis Cardinals are off to the fastest start in Millennium League history with an early 14-4 record. "The team has been a surprise so far - but, when you hit .323 as a team, you don't lose many ball games," said Redbird skipper John Helmbrecht. The Cards currently lead the league in batting and are ranked third in team ERA (3.86), behind Oakland and Pittsburgh.
