Athletics Are Going to the World Series

The 7th seeded Oakland Athletics defeated the 3rd seeded Boston Red Sox in an exciting seven game series.  A recap of the games:

BOS 3, OAK 2 - Sale outduels Arrieta in the opener.  Lucroy drives in 2 runs.

OAK 8, BOS 4 - Porcello pitches 6 innings and only allows 2 runs; Kemp, Bradley Jr and Schoop all drive in 2 runs each

BOS 3, OAK 1 - Archer pitches 6 2/3 innings and only allows 1 run.  Then, the Red Sox bullpen (A. Miller, Betances and Chapman) close out the game for the win.

OAK 4, BOS 1 - A's rally with 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th off loser Andrew Miller.  Carlos Carrasco limited the red Sox to just 1 run and 2 hits over 8 innings.  Seung Hwan Oh gets the save.

OAK 3, BOS 2 (13) - Quite possibly the turning point of the series.  In the bottom of the 13th, a  Jackie Bradley Jr double, a Jonathan Schoop walk and then a walk off double by Ender
Inciarte gave the A's the win.

BOS 4, OAK 3 - Fernandez (Win), Miller, Betances and Chapman (Save #7 in this postseason) limited Oakland to just 3 runs as Boston evens the series.

OAK 3, BOS 1 - Jackie Bradley Jr. had two hits and two ribbies to lead Oakland to the win.  Jose Quintana only allowed one unearned run for the win.
