Tribe's Kenny Rogers Having Stellar Season

Cleveland (AP) - A year ago, the Cleveland Indians finished with a dismal 61-101 record - 36 games behind division winner Florida. A year ago, Tribe hurler Kenny Rogers was 7-20 with a 7+ ERA. He gave up a whopping 255 hits in 189 innings pitched.

The 2005 season is a complete turnaround for the Indians and Rogers. Cleveland, leading the league in team batting (.292) and runs scored (542), has posted a 66-33 record. Rogers leads the league in wins with a 15-3 mark. He has a 3.55 ERA with 2 shutouts.

What a difference a year makes. . . .
