appeared in 15g for the Devil Rays' short-season Class A affiliate at Hudson Valley in the New York-Penn League...were his first professional apps since 7/10/02 for Class A Bakersfield vs Modesto...spent most of the summer working out at The Winning Inning, a baseball academy in Clearwater run by former minor league manager Roy Silver...was rehabbing an injury to his left knee that had required arthroscopic surgery in March.
