Kansas City (AP) - The Royals are the hottest team in the league right now as they jumped fast out of the gate with a strong 12-3 mark. The Royals have never made the playoffs. Kansas City's past won-lost records:2004: 65 - 97 (5th Place)
2003: 57 - 105 (5th Place)
2002: 75 - 87 (2nd Place)
2001: 82 - 80 (3rd Place)
2000: 71 - 91 (5th Place)
Time will tell to see if the Royals are for real this season, but expect some big crowds at Kaufmann Stadium in the early going.....
